Add some sparkle to your life this summer!

At Spark Land!

We are still at the peak of the summer so it wouldn't be a bad idea to add some more spark to your already sparkling summer, I'm sure you agree huh!😎 And what better place to find that spark than the house of sparks itself - Spark Land.

Spark Land is an amusement park located in the very heart of Daegu (at the city center), a very strategic location if I may add -very hard to miss (especially with the Ferris wheel standing tall and gorgeous at the top).

Getting there was not at all difficult. Since I live in Ulsan, I had to either take a train or a bus to Daegu, I chose the former for obvious reasons; it's faster and the price difference compared to the bus (you'd be shocked isn't at all much😮). So I would advise anyone going to Daegu from Ulsan to definitely take the train.

I took SRT from Ulsan to Dong-Daegu for 9500 won and coming back I took KTX for 10,500 won and it only took about 27mins. So I round trip is just about an hour. The bus is 8,500 won but it takes 2 hours (not advisable). From the Dong-Daegu station there a couple of direct buses and subway you can take straight to spark land, I took bus number 425 which cost the regular 1,250 won (you can also take the same bus back to the station on your way back).

When you get into spark land, at the ticket sales area there's kinda like a photo stand with a nice backdrop where you can take lovely pictures. Then just adjacent is the ticket vending machine through which you can purchase tickets.

The first machine on the left is cash only and the other two you can pay with your card. It shows you the variety of rides you can enjoy, then it gives you the option of paying for one ride at a time or paying for two or three rides at once with a small discount. There are many attractions at spark land and from the picture you can see a few like the Ferris wheel, Disko, Copernicus, and Twist Tower. There's also the bumper car and lots more like the indoor games you can also enjoy, please see the video attached at the end for more details. While I was there I enjoyed the Ferris wheel and the Disko.

The view from the Ferris wheel is amazing😍 as you get the see the beauty of Daegu in its entirety from the city center. It goes slow and steady as it shows you Daegu from the sky.

At the bottom of the Ferris wheel, there's also another amazing top view. It has a transparent glass flooring that you can step on and literally see through to the ground all the way from the top. It's like standing in the sky😮, it's amazing. You can see me sitting on it in this picture😀.
